*Waves back* Hi Jenny! How goes it?

i do agree though that ancestry is a great way to connect with that, as it gives you a starting point that is easy to work with and you are already emotionally attached to it.

i understand the need to connect to a higher source, and it's very observant that you realize those were things ingrained into you as a child. most people simply take that as "proof", which is actually the OPPOSITE of proof. there definitely IS an energy force in the universe, no matter how you look at it, whether from a purely scientific standpoint or a spiritual standpoint. furthermore, from either perspective, you are always connected to it. chaos magick is really just all the rituals, with all the "spiritual" stuff removed, boiled down to basic, verifiable results-driven magickal work. it's quite effective, regardless of any belief systems you have, and can, in fact, be adapted to FIT any belief systems.

well, i use the term pagan rather loosely. i have pagan leanings, due to my studies of ancient "occult" practices, primarily from the greek and egyptian pantheons. within the last 10 years, however, i have discarded ALL belief systems, using them as TOOLS rather than and end to themselves. i've taken on the outlook of "chaos magick", though it does get a bad name sometimes. by chaos magick, i mean eclectic, though. i can take from any system of magick, remove all teh gods and godess if i want to, and boil it all down to specific actions and meditations that serve particular purposes

so what "brand" of pagan are you, anyway, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks for the friend invite! I look forward to getting to know you. I just joined your new group "Gather Ghosts and Hauntings". I'll pass the info on to my daughter, Toni V.. She has a story she can pass on to it and that you might find interesting, Visits From A Lost Loved One. ---- I haven't posted any of my 'ghost' stories or other-worldly visitors, yet. I do have a couple of astral travels stories, the first describing my personal experience and the second answering some questions.
